SUSTAINABLE DESIGN POLICIES AND REGULATION

This subject gives students a thorough grasp of environmental issues and the intricacies and affects that the built world has on the natural environment. The goal of the module is to foster environmental literacy and a grasp of the regulations governing sustainable design and construction.

PROJECT 1

Understanding how Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are related and can be achieved in built environment. Describing the laws and policies related to the environment and interpret cases relating to sustainability, applying the methods into our given topic which is building and wellbeing/built environment/building and obesity. Research and write a report on ways to help achieve a more sustainable building design.

Analyzing and Extracting important informations on the web to help us understand and complete this assignment.

PROJECT 2

This Project helps us investigate how architecture might serve as the foundation for achieving a number of Sustainable Design Goals through this project. Designers can offer fundamental suggestions and proposals for laws that enable sustainable communities. Working together, designers may encourage an honest discussion to offer solutions as a course of action. The 17 SDGs outline the issues that must be resolved to develop a more prosperous and sustainable future. By 2030, the globe must work toward achieving these goals while leaving no one behind. This includes the built environment, especially the practise of architecture that is connected to every aim, crucially not at an idealistic level but rather through actualized (in the real world) structures, settlements, cities, and local initiatives. We must chronicle actual instances of design, planning, and structures in order to comprehend the Goals as they relate to architecture and the built environment in order to make this statement concrete and show how the built environment/architectural answers to these goals. Every one of the situations that have been reported will serve as a starting point for a conservation on how the built environment may support a specific objective.
